The White Hart, Main Street, Ufford - 01780 740250

Finch's Arms, Oakham Road, Hambleton - 01572 756575

Fantastic views over Rutland Water can be found at this traditional 17th century country inn. It serves cask ales - as well as food at lunchtime and in the evenings. It includes an open fire and beamed ceilings.

The Olive Branch, Main Street, Clipsham - 01780 410355

Awarded a Michelin Star in 2002 - and Gastro Pub of the Year and Local Produce Menu of the Year at the Leicestershire & Rutland awards in 2006. The Olive Branch offers a la carte, lunch and blackboard menus, an extensive wine list and real ales, mostly from local and regional breweries. Fabulous food, fabulous interiors and definitely worth a visit. We love it.

Jackson Stops Inn, Rookery Lane, Stretton - 01780 410237

This is a picturesque, stone built inn with simple white washed interior walls. Ambient and relaxed, it includes an open fire when the weather demands. Mouth-watering Modern British food is served including fabulous puddings. Its unusual name comes from an estate agent's board put up on the building when it was up for sale in the mid-nineties.

The Collyweston Slater, Main Road, Collyweston - 01780 444288

Recently refurbished, the interior is modern and stylish but is sympathetic to the character of the beautiful old building. There's a lovely bar area and ample space for dining where great food goes hand-in-hand with superb customer service.
